From challah, to soup, sides, brisket, and more! Here is your holiday recipe handbook!
If you are anything like me….you haven’t started cooking yet. But fear not! Here are my favorite holiday recipes. Enjoy!
Challah!
What Yom tov meal isn’t complete without beautiful freshly baked challah?
My Most Delicious Challah (This challah is fluffy and gorgeous!)
Saffron & Orange Blossom Celebration Challah (This is my challah recipe base infused with vibrant hues and flavors of saffron, orange blossom water, and golden raisins!)

All the salads, small plates, and side dishes!
A feast is not a feast without small (and large) plates filled with texture and flavors! Below are some of the recipes I lavish my holiday tables with:
Spicy Marinated Olives (A must for dipping challah in!)
Chopped Salad with Feta & Crunchy Chickpeas (Lovely for a lunch or dinner. If you are making a meat meal simply eliminate the feta cheese.)
Autumn Harvest Crunch Salad (I love this for both Rosh Hashanah and Sukkot! It’s festive and different and delicious)

Almost Ran’s Perfect Moroccan Carrot Salad (A lighter and fresher alternative than a tzimmes. Perfect for simanim!)
Shaved Brussel Sprout Salad (A favorite all year round! I love this salad for Sukkot.)
Healthier Butternut Squash Kugel (No margarine here! My kids love this kugel…and I do too.)
Roasted Beet Salad with Pistachio Mint Dukkah (Bright and beautiful!)

Soups and Hearty Bowl Dishes:
Have a bowl of any of these nourishing soups as a meal or accompany them with salads and challah.
Roasted Pumpkin Soup (I serve it on Sukkot as an appetizer for a dairy lunch..)
Yemeni Style Chicken Soup (Your traditional chicken soup just became an entire meal with chickpeas and butternut squash and golden flavors of soup Hiwaiij.)
Spiced Lentil Spare Rib Soup (My kids favorite soup. I Serve this on Sukkot because it’s rich, luscious and hearty.)

The Main Event!
Perfectly Braised Brisket (This is the way I cook my brisket. Period.) Don’t forget to find recipes for The Leftovers ….if there are any!
One Pan Mediterranean Fish With Olive and Tomatoes (It’s a one pan, easy, and delicious dairy meal!)

Eggplant & Beef Rollatinis (Move over stuffed cabbage and try this beauty!)
One Pan Roast Chicken with Pumpkin and Sage Rice (This one pan dish has all the sweater weather cozy feelings.)
Something Sweet.
Keep these desserts at the ready all month long!
Fig & Walnut Spiced Biscotti (Toasty and filled with spices. Perfect dipped in a cup of coffee or tea.)

Healthier Apple Cranberry Crumble (This recipe is dairy, but you can sub the butter for margarine.)
European Spiced Apple Pie (Reminiscent of my Bubby’s apple cake.)
